KORONA extra virgin olive oil made from 100% Koroneiki olives. A daily intake of 20 g of KORONA olive oil provides 11.6 mg of hydroxytyrosol, tyrosol or their derivatives (5 mg), and therefore the oil belongs to the category of oils that protect blood lipids from oxidative stress in accordance with European Union Regulation 432/2012. Certification number 1718-C00452.
Korona is a truly exceptional extra virgin olive oil from a single olive variety, with low acidity and a high phenolic content. These two important indicators make Korona one of the finest oils.
It is produced by the Asmarianaki family business, located in the area of Kritsa, one of the oldest villages in Crete. This is a single-variety oil made exclusively from Koroneiki olives.
