Dictamus is a plant native to Crete and has been known for its medicinal properties since ancient times. Aristotle and Homer already mentioned its healing properties.
It significantly helps with cramps and soothes stomach and intestinal pain. It is also suitable for the gallbladder, relieves headaches and toothache. It is very helpful for flu and sore throat.
The plant grows as small woody shrubs with stems reaching up to 40 cm. It has hairy leaves with a velvety texture. The flowers are pink and the aroma is pleasant.
Dictamus contains active medicinal substances, such as camphor and kalvarol. These substances prevent the multiplication of bacteria, treat inflammation and relieve pain.
