This wine was produced only in favourable years when a significant amount of grapes on the bunches was affected by botrytis. The sugar content is at least 8 g/litre. It is an elegant wine with a pronounced “bread-like texture”, highly aromatic, highly extractive and pleasantly sweet in taste. It matures through a traditional oxidative process in oak barrels in “tufa” cellars. It is intended for the most discerning gourmets. Its character reserves this wine for rare and special moments.
Colour: Deep amber.
Aroma: Characteristic aroma of botrytised grapes and oxidation.
Taste: Pronounced, typical “bread-like texture” with notes of tropical fruit, chocolate and vanilla.
A sweet aperitif suitable with desserts and coffee specialities.
